Donna

Donna Poulidis — Founder, Prana Fitness

Donna Poulidis has been practicing and studying fitness, wellness, meditation and yoga for over 10 years. Donna has evolved her yoga teaching into a style she calls Prana Yoga that focuses on breath as the foundation of yoga asana, infusing her classes with vinyasa sequences and posture holds. Donna creates an atmosphere of embracing challenge through postures, while creating a space for healing and inward reflection. Donna also sees clients privately, using gentle and effective techniques to balance and prevent symptoms of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and stress. Her approach is one of empathy, compassion and care for her class and workshop participants. Her vision and purpose is being a co-creator in a community that fosters growth, love, and rediscovering our True Selves.

Lisa

Lisa

Lisa is a 500 hour YA certified yoga instructor who has trained extensively in the Vinyasa (flow/power yoga) tradition. She has been practicing yoga since 2001, and over the years as her sporadic practice developed into a more regular one, she began to see the range of benefits and transformative properties offered through a dedication to mindfulness, movement and breath. She loves building classes that are creatively sequenced to unlock the anatomy with safety and efficacy so that the physical postures become better conduits for the circulation of the breath and the clearing of the mind. In 2008, Lisa trained with Frog Lotus International in Costa Rica and then again in Mexico and India, and has also had the opportunity to travel and study with other luminaries who inspire her teaching and practice such as Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Eoin Finn and Rodney Yee among others. Formerly employed as a teacher at both high school and university levels, Lisa now sees the yoga studio as the venue where she can share her passion and inspire others.
